There are various business methods and models that you can easily use to make money on the web. However, it is not a good idea to use all the techniques at the same time; do not put all your eggs in one basket. Diversifying your web income and having multiple streams of income available to you is the key to becoming rich online. You want to be receiving money from many different aspects online, not just one website, or one online survey etc. Here I will go through many different ways for you to earn money, and ideally, all of these methods should be implemented.

One way to start making money online is through a Google sponsored a program named Google Adsense that pays site owners for every visitor that clicks on the ad(s). All you need to do is register, put the code on your site and then Google ads will show up according to relevancy to your content. You just have to put the Google ads on your website and you will automatically get paid per click.

Another way to get money is to set up a review site and put an affiliate link at the bottom so when someone goes to that site and buys something, you get paid a decent commission. You can link your website with other sites that have relevant content to get traffic and money. A very important aspect when it comes to this is the choice of website that you link to. Make sure the content is directly correlated to the content in your website because Google considers your site according to the backlinks in it. If you have a site about plants and you link it to a site about technology, Google will either consider your site to be relevant to technology, thus giving you less targeted traffic, or ignore your links completely.

Another way to diversify your online income is to create your own product. You can earn a lot of money from making a new type of software, e-book, or even a physical item (physical items do require more work since you have to worry about more aspects of it like shipping etc). Start off with something simple like an e-book. Write about 50 pages about a topic that you are quite familiar with and price at $27 or so. Offer your e-book to affiliates, adjust an auto responder and automate the whole selling process. After this, you don’t have to do anything anymore except continue to improve your traffic; everything else is already taken care of and fully automated.

Another way to diversify your online income is through Google Adwords. Google Adwords is a great way to make a lot of money fast, but only if you know how to do it properly. There are many tricks to know and if you are inexperienced in this area, then you should probably educate yourself before jumping into something like this. However, if you do know what you’re doing, then it is a great addition to your online portfolio.
